Conservatory Canada’s 2016 Convocation and Award Ceremony
The annual convocation ceremony at CONSERVATORY CANADA is our opportunity to acknowledge the many talented musicians who undertake our examinations, and to recognize their achievements in person. Each year we award over 200 medals and more than $30,000 in scholarships to students across the country. We also present Associate and Licentiate Diplomas, including an Honorary Licentiate Diploma awarded to a Canadian who has made a significant contribution to music in Canada.
Medal and scholarship winners are invited to attend the ceremony on November 5 , 2016. We are holding the ceremony at the Wolf Hall in the London Public Library. Reception and celebratory dinner and student concert to follow at the Four Points Sheraton London, 1150 Wellington Rd S, London.
Study Scholarships (for students)
Each year Conservatory Canada offers a Master Class Weekend to senior pianists and vocalists (alternating annually) who achieve a high standing in our examinations. Ten of the best students are invited to come to London, to take part in two days of private lessons, master classes and recording sessions with an internationally renowned clinician. The weekend culminates with a performance during the Conservatory Canada Convocation ceremony.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]
