2017 Convocation and Awards Ceremony

The annual convocation ceremony at Conservatory Canada is our opportunity to acknowledge the many talented musicians who undertake our examinations, and to recognize their achievements in person. Each year we award over 200 medals and more than $30,000 in scholarships to students across the country. We also present Associate and Licentiate Diplomas, including an Honorary Licentiate Diploma awarded to a Canadian who has made a significant contribution to music in Canada.

Attendance at Convocation

Medal and scholarship winners, and diploma recipients, are invited to attend the ceremony, Saturday, November 4th. We are holding the ceremony at the Wolf Performance Hall (London Public Library in the Citi Plaza), 251 Dundas Street in London.  The ceremony will begin at 12:00pm.

Following the Convocation ceremony, guests are invited to join us at the Double Tree by Hilton (300 King Street) for a student recital and celebratory dinner.  This beautiful hotel will offer convenience to our students and their families, along with a special room rate.

The student recital will begin at 4pm, with dinner being served at 5pm.  Dinner selection will be a choice of stuffed chicken, salmon, vegetarian dinner, and kids pasta meal. All options include a starter and dessert.
